Why I Ditched the Oracle Guidebooks (And How You Can, Too).

Hi love. I want to tell you a little story.

When I first started my spiritual journey, I ordered three Oracle decks that really called to me. As soon as they arrived, I was so excited to dig in. I read through the card spreads, studied how to use the cards, absorbed all the stuff the author shared, and off I went to start doing some readings.

But a funny thing happened: I found myself relying on the guidebook for messages even when my intuition was telling me something entirely different.

I was seeing elements in the imagery and numerology of the cards that were delivering profound, significant messages to me, but they didn’t align with the book’s specific definitions.

If I’m being completely honest—and as a Sagittarius, you know I have to be—rules feel confining and restrictive. And that is exactly how the guidebooks made me feel.

That’s when I decided to ditch the guidebooks. 

I quit focusing on specific spreads and asking rigid questions, stopped reading the book for answers. Instead, I connected with my gifts and finally found my flow.

My self-taught method for doing readings is something I have been teaching in coaching sessions for the last couple of years, and watching my clients bloom, seeing them begin to trust their own intuitive messages, has been incredibly rewarding.
